We are harvesting our publication metadata automatically mainly from open sources. For that reason, a prerequisite for getting indexed in Dimensions is that your content must have already been registered with / deposited to one of these sources and have a corresponding identifier for each record. Currently, our sources include:
- Crossref (DOI - Crossref),
- PubMed (PubMed ID),
- PubMed Central (PMC ID),
- arXiv (arXiv ID), and
- J-STAGE (DOI - J-STAGE).
Please refer to the following support articles for further information:
- How can I check if my content is already available in Dimensions?
- My journal is indexed in Dimensions, but it is not showing up in the "Source title" filter
- My content is indexed in one of your sources, but it is not appearing in Dimensions
- My content is not indexed in one of your sources - can it still be indexed in Dimensions?
